Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By requesting a quote, booking a shipment, or using any service provided by Mission Auto Transport Inc ("Mission", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use our services. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you ("Customer", "you") and Mission Auto Transport Inc.

2. Our Services

Mission Auto Transport Inc is a licensed auto transport broker (USDOT# 2783026 | MC# 924412). We arrange transportation of vehicles through our network of independent, FMCSA-licensed motor carriers. Mission acts as a broker and is not a motor carrier. The actual transportation of your vehicle is performed by a contracted carrier.

3. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes provided by Mission are estimates based on the information you provide at the time of quoting — including origin, destination, vehicle type, operability, and transport type. Quotes are valid for seven (7) days from the date issued. Final pricing is confirmed when your shipment is assigned to a carrier. Market conditions, fuel prices, and seasonal demand may affect final pricing. We will always communicate any price change before booking your shipment.

4. No Upfront Deposit

Mission does not charge an upfront deposit to provide a quote or to initiate the booking process. You are charged when your shipment is scheduled for pickup or when a carrier has been dispatched for your load. Payment terms for the carrier's portion (typically due at delivery) will be communicated before dispatch.

5. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to: (a) provide accurate vehicle and location information; (b) ensure someone 18 or older is present at pickup and delivery to sign the Bill of Lading; (c) prepare your vehicle per our prep checklist (remove personal items, 1/4 tank of fuel, no leaks, alarms disabled); (d) disclose any vehicle modifications, damage, or inoperability before booking; and (e) inspect the vehicle at delivery and note any damage on the Bill of Lading before the driver departs.

6. Insurance & Liability

Every carrier in our network carries cargo insurance as required by the FMCSA, typically a minimum of $50,000 per vehicle. Mission verifies each carrier's insurance before dispatch. The carrier's insurance is the primary coverage for any damage that occurs during transport. Mission Auto Transport Inc is not liable for damage caused by the carrier; damage claims are filed directly with the carrier's insurer. You must note damage on the Bill of Lading at delivery to preserve your claim rights.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your shipment at any time prior to vehicle pickup at no charge. Once a carrier has been dispatched or has picked up your vehicle, cancellation may be subject to a fee equal to the dispatch effort or a portion of the agreed transport cost, as the carrier has committed resources to your load. Refunds for cancellations after pickup are handled on a case-by-case basis.

8. Delays

Pickup and delivery dates are estimates. Weather, traffic, mechanical issues, carrier scheduling, and other factors outside our control may cause delays. Mission is not liable for delays, consequential damages, or costs arising from delayed pickup or delivery. We will communicate proactively throughout your shipment and work to resolve any delays.

9. Prohibited Items

No personal belongings, hazardous materials, firearms, illegal substances, or live animals may be left in the vehicle during transport. Any personal items left in the vehicle are not insured and are left at your own risk. Carriers may refuse transport or charge additional fees if prohibited items are present.

10. Changes to These Terms

Mission may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
